Erasmus+ Adaptation Day
On 19th February 2018 International Cooperation Office of UAS Nysa organized Adaptation Day for all international students who arrived to Nysa for their Erasmus+ mobility in summer semester 2019.
The purpose of the event was to discuss regulations, administrative matters, academic calendar and Erasmus+ requirements, but the most important was to make students feel comfortable at their first days at the University, help them in integration with polish students and citizens, as well as to spend a nice and memorable time in Poland.
This semester our University has the pleasure to guest 33 students from: Turkey, Ukraine, Spain, Bosna and Hercegovina, Kosovo, Germany, France, Greece, Czech Republic, Morocco and India, who will be attending classes at the Faculties of Management and Production Engineering, English Philology, German Philology, Finance and Accounting, Dietetics, Architecture, Computer Science and Nursing.
Another important part of the event was the meeting with the Departmental Coordinators who discussed the classes schedules, changes to the learning agreements, as well as examination and assessment regulations. Finally, students took part in a game called Marshmallow Challenge and Polonez dance workshops when they also took the initiative and showed their own national dances.
