International Week and Adaptation Day in PWSZ NYSA

From 25th February to 1st March the International Cooperation Office of the School of Higher Vocational Education in Nysa organized the ERASMUS WEEK.

Students could participate in presentations, meetings and workshops concerning the possibility of taking part in Erasmus Programme. Moreover, on 28th of February, a meeting with the Rector and International Coordinators within the Institutes was organized. This was the occasion to sum up our participation in the programme as well as to talk about the internationalization strategy of PWSZ Nysa in context of the new ERASMUS for All Programme for 20014-2012.

On Friday, 1st of March, our International Students who just arrived in Nysa had an opportunity to meet and spend time together with their tutors and International Cooperation Office that organized an ADAPTATION DAY for them. During this day students participated in the Culture understanding workshop as well as gained more information about studying within the PWSZ in Nysa and the University itself. This semester we guest students from: Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Germany and Latvia. All together in 2012/13 academic year nearly 50 international students visited our University for mobility under the LLP Erasmus Programme. This gives all of us: students and University staff the chance to learn about different cultures and countries and to take part in the internationalization process of PWSZ in Nysa.
